What a fun time Claine and I had at Hardware Ranch on Saturday! It wasn't too cold until the end when the wind come. There wasn't too much snow up there. There were a lot of people there. Probably because it was such a sunny day outside.

On Thursday, Sept 22. My friend Lori Dopp had her Reception at Chantilly Mansion in Layton,Utah. It was a lot of fun. Claine caught the garter belt. She had a photo booth for people could take a pictures and then glue it into a guestbook. Then you wrote something to them. We got to keep a picture for yourselves. You could take as many pictures as you wanted. We are thinking about doing that for our reception. I am soo happy for her!

Claine and I went to Idaho Falls for our special weekend! We went to the Bodies Exhibit at the museum of Idaho. It was really cool. We also fed geese and ducks at the falls my the Idaho Falls temple. Idaho Falls is our favorite place to go! there is also a collage of ring Claine has given me :o)

They say another year older, another year wiser. I hope that's my case. Claine and I and some friends went to Cafe Sabor for an early birthday dinner on 5/28. Since my birthday falls on a sunday. It was a lot of fun. The food was yummy! I had a little bird tell them that it was my birthday when we was ordering. So needless to say I had to wear a sombero on my head. But the best part of it was we got free fried Ice Cream. I really love fried Ice Cream. So I guess it was worth being embarrassed and red faced.

Claine and I went to 1st Dam on Saturday. It was a nice sunny day. We found the cutest duck there. But there was no mom & dad in sight. Claine went up the river to see if there were any nests or any sign of where baby ducks would of been. But no luck at all. We just had to leave it there all my itself. I hope that it doesn't die. Demolition Derby in O-Town

Claine and I went to our 1st Demolition Derby of the year in Ogden on May 21st! It was a lot of fun! The food there was another story. We had cotton candy and it wasn't good at all! I didn't think anyone could mess up cotton candy but they did! We also had fries and they didn't even take a lot of the grease out it. Then you have to use a napkin to get the grease out of it. So I think that we are going to think twice about getting it again! But we had fun anyway!

First we went and saw Fast Five at University 6. That was the best movie out of the 5! If you go and see it make sure you stay til the after the credits roll!

Then we went to 1st Dam to feed the ducks. The ducks weren't even hungry. I didn't get any picture of us feeding the ducks. It was really gross there was duck and bird crap all over. So you had to watch where you stepped.

Claine and I decided to go to Rick Springs up Logan Canyon. Then we read on the board that Bear Lake was only 15 more mile. We wanted to see how high the water was. It was alittle higher. Then we ate yummy food at Cafe Sabor. Then we stopped that this water fall on the way back to Logan. I don't even know what it is called. I love waterfalls. Claine and I went to the USU Hockey Tornament on Saturday. They played Northern Arizona. The score was: USU 9 Northern AZ 6. It was an exciting game. USU is going to Nationals in CA! I would love to go to that!

Claine and I went to the Family Christmas Gift Show at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy. I wish that I would of gotten this picture! I love it! I would of saved $12 if I would of gotten in at the show. It was a lot of fun there!

Claine had his birthday on Friday September 3rd. I took the day off to spend it with him. We went and saw the movie Takers. It was pretty good! That evening we went to Callaway's in Smithfield. It was sooo yummy! I got him a Coconut Creme pie for his dessert. That is what he wanted. He got 2 pair of Docker pants and a tie to wear to church. He got some candy that he likes. He also got a Mafia Wars card for facebook. What a spoiled guy! But he is worth everything I got him. He is SOO good to me. I couldn't ask for a nicer guy to date! Love you honey!

Claine and I went on a little road trip. We started out in Logan and then we headed north to Preston,Idaho and then we went through Montpelier, Idaho and then we went through Paris, Idaho. We stopped and looked that the Paris Tabernacle. Then we ended to Bear Lake. We stopped there and looked around. Took some pictures of the lake. Next time when we go we will get in. It was a nice day at Bear Lake! But it was really warm! We ate at Cafe Sabor. It was yummy! Hope you enjoy these pictures that I took! Thanks honey for a good idea to go on the road trip. Even though I wanted to stay home. I'm glad that we went! Love you!

Claine and I went a saw this movie this weekend! It was really good. We had an older couple that made it even funnier. They kept having to repeat what they were saying. I would recommend going to it.

Yellowstone Bear World

This picture was taken in the gift shop at Yellowstone Bear World. Claine and I went on a little trip up to Idaho Falls on the 24th of July weekend. We went to Yellowstone Bear World. It is 5 minutes south of Rexburg, Idaho. It was a self guided tour that you drove through. We did go on another tour that you got to feed bears! It was pretty cool! I will post some more pictures later!

At the Farmers Market there was this guys that acted like a statue! It was pretty cool!

Whenever there is rain there is usually a rainbow. If you look closely you can see a double rainbow! It was pretty cool!

Rainbows remind me of my nephew Brady and my Grandma Hansen!

Here's the story: When we were at the cemetary in Logan we just got finished with the services there. It had been raining and when it was done raining there was a rainbow. My nephew was about 4 or 5 and he told us that Grandma-Great sent us a rainbow to help us to be happy! I always remember that experience every time I see a rainbow!

This was a really good hamburger that I got at a restaurant called,"The Counter" It was build your own hamburger. Claine and I went the Tulip Festival at Thankgiving Point this weekend. I thought that I would share some pictures that I took! I think I took some really good pictures! This first picture has a story behind it! This was soo funny! There was some kids that was playing by this statue and Claine thought it was a real person. We laughed about it the whole day!

Sweet Pork Salad with Cilantro Dressing

2-4 lb pork roast1 ½ Cups Coca Cola,Salt, Pepper, Garlic Seasoning Salt
Sauce:1 Cup Coca Cola1 Cup ketchup
Dressing:1 jar Herdez Salsa Verde (mild tomatillo salsa, I get it at Walmart, any size)Equal amount of prepared ranch dressing (Hidden Valley)1 Bunch Cilantro
10 inch wheat or flour tortillasShredded green leaf lettuceBlack beans, I just used cannedCilantro lime rice (steamed rice with chopped cilantro leaves and fresh lime juice, as much as desired)Diced tomatoes, cheese, guacamole….etcCrispy Tortilla Strips (flour tortillas cut into thin strips and fried in vegetable oil until browned)
Place roast in crockpot with Coke; season with salt, pepper and garlic seasoning. Cook on low overnight, until tender. Remove roast from crockpot, discard juices. Shred pork into bite size pieces and place back into pot on low.
Place Cola and ketchup in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring often. Heat to a low boil. Pour over shredded roast. Cook on low until ready to serve.
For dressing, place equal parts salsa verde and ranch dressing into food processor or blender. Add Cilantro leaves and process until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
To serve: Place tortilla onto a large bowl or plate. Layer with lettuce, beans, rice, pork, dressing and tomatoes, cheese and guacamole. Cheese, guacamole and crispy tortilla strips not pictured, but really good in it!

I got the prettiest dozen roses for Valentine's Day from Claine. I am so happy that he is in my life! I couldn't imagine my life without him! I love him!! We had the best weekend! It was filled with food,fun,and a lot of laughter. We just wished that It would of been longer! We both have to work on President's Day :(! Hope everyone had a good one like I did!

Claine and I went to the Draper Temple Open House on Jan. 24th. We had an amazing experience at the Temple. I was kind of sad that I couldn't take a picture of temple. There was tents going into the entrance of the Temple. They put them up so we would be protected by the weather.

Claine and I went and saw Yes Man on Saturday. It wasn't as good as I thought that it would be! But I'm not a big Jim Carrey fan either. Claine wanted to go see it so we went to it. He goes to my chick flicks so I can go to movies that he wants to see.

Today was the last day for these kids to be in my primary Sunbeam class. It was kind of a sad to see them move on. You get so attached to them. So next week I will be getting all new kids. I hope that are as good as these kids are!

I love to watch, "The Biggest Loser". I am soo happy that Michelle Aguilar won "The Biggest Loser"!! She won $250,000! Michelle's starting weight was 242 and her ending weight was 132. She lost 110 pounds. That is 45.45% of her body weight. Way to go Michelle!!!

Christmas Concert in SLC

Claine and I went to Salt Lake on Dec. 11th for the Dress rehearsal for the Mormon Tab. Choir Christmas Concert. It was a lot of fun! It was great just to be together! It was a treat because I don't usually get to see each on the weekdays! Temple Square was pretty as always! Claine and I rode Frontrunner from Clearfield so we didn't have to get into rush hour traffic. We met some friends down there. It was a blast!

"A Thief In Church"

I thought that I would share a really cool thing. I think that it happens a lot in church. I know I probably have been guilty of doing thing very thing.

It happened last Sunday and the Sunday before. A thief in
church, Think of it....

The tragic part of it is that this goes on under our very
noses, so to speak. Sometimes we are accomplices without
realizing it. Perhaps this is because we lose sight of the fact
that theft is not confined to material goods alone, that often
things of far greater value are stolen. When this occurs in
church, the offenses seems even more blameworthy.

Take the case of the woman who came to church with a
serious problem on her mind. She came in hoping in the quiet
of worship, to find help in solving her problem, or at least
new courage and faith to sustain her. In the seat behind her
sat a thief. He did not take her purse or her jewels, but he
did rob her most priceless possessions.

The thief would be shocked to hear himself so accused.
It would never occur to him that one could steal anything so
intangible. To be sure, he talked or whisphered on and off
during the service . Maybe he did rattle the order of
service and tap his foot now and then. But, after all, there
wasn't any real harm in that, was there? No harm, when he
robbed one woman of something invaluable. No harm, when
to a greater or lesser degree he robbed everyone seated
near him of the full benefit of the service? No harm, when
he had robbed even himself? And what of the Spirt of
reverence to our Heavenly Father? Was not that stolen, too?
